3rd Grade
Find someone in your home to clap and say a rhythm to! It must be 4 beats long.

4th Grade
Practice your recorder!
Reminder - left hand goes on top of right hand - think about our recorder rap song!
Practice the "B" note on your recorder. If you look at the fingering chart, you may also experiment with the "A" and "G" notes!
Count through Hot Cross Buns and clap the rhythm to prepare for the upcoming week of music class!

Remember, practice doesn't make perfect, practice makes permanent!

Keep practicing your recorder at home to improve your playing!

5th and 6th Grade
Experiment with the drummer man on garage band. Then, go to the guitar section of garage band.
1. Record four beats of these chords: C, G, Am, F
2. Record a section of the drummer man on top of your looping.

7th and 8th Grade
2/22/23 For attendance, please email me your favorite dog name and favorite kind of music. This will let me know that you are present for class.
  1. Please research Prince Rogers Nelson. You must figure out where he is from, what High School sport he played, and 3 other facts about him. This could relate to him personally or his music.

2/23/23 Happy snow day round 2! I hope you were able to enjoy the snow and do something fun outside! Here is the plan for today's e-Learning.
  • For attendance, please email me with what fun you are having in the snow today or what you are enjoying doing around your home!
For your assignment, please do the following:
  1. Look over your vocab 3 words, we will have a test on Monday with them. Please spend 10 minutes reviewing them.
  1. Email me with the word that you currently have the hardest time remembering and then one way that might help you remember it! If you are needing another way to remember it, I will help you out!
