Welcome to K-8 General Music Class, I am very excited for this upcoming school year! Each class will learn about music and how it fits into the past, future, and how it surrounds us everyday. We will discover beginning vocal, instrumental, and musical skills through methods by Emile Jacques-Dalcroze, Zoltan Kodaly, Orff-Schulwerk, and Edwin Gordon. This is my first year as a Music Educator; I graduated May, 2022 from Luther College with a Bachelors Degree in Music Education with an Instrumental Focus. I am looking forward to meeting all of the students and staff here at Blooming Prairie Elementary and High School! Outside of teaching, I like to spend my time outside with friends and family! Go Blossoms!!! |
