Blooming Prairie Public Schools'
Technology Department

Blooming Prairie High School provides a variety of technologies for our students from Kindergarten through Grade 12.  The Elementary students have access to iPad Minis in most classrooms, which contain hundreds of educational apps that help children in all areas of their education.  There are computers in lab configurations that are used for keyboarding skills, testing, math, reading, graphic design, and more.

History: Blooming Prairie High School began a 1:1 iPad program in 2012 for grades 7 - 12, which provided each student with access to an iPad 2 while they attend school.  If students choose, this iPad may be taken home if a Technology Fee is paid.

In the Fall of 2016, BPHS refreshed our 1:1. Grades 7-10 were given an iPad Air II, and grades 11-12 were given MacBook Air Laptops.

We once again did a smaller refresh in the Fall of 2018. Grades 7-9 were given an iPad Air II, and grades 10-12 were given MacBook Air Laptops.

We hope to continue providing students with technology that will allow them to excel once they leave BPHS.
