Dylan Heuer
by Chad Hein

Friday night football is on. You hear the announcer yell, "At defensive end, #66 Dylan Heuer!!!" You wonder who he is? Well your about to find out who Dylan is and what all he does on the field and off.

Dylan is a junior this year in the Blooming Prairie School. Then I asked how was being able to participate in homecoming? “The game was amazing. Beating a team is great, but beating them on homecoming is better. The dance was fun, but I was tired from the football game so I wasn't really awake. Throwing toilet paper all over classmate’s trees was a lot of fun. Doing trouble without getting in trouble. The best part was driving around and catching Mariah and all her friends get caught by the cops when they were about to toilet paper my house.

After talking about all the fun and games, Dylan talked about his football career this year and his plans after college. "My favorite thing about football so far was winning the 8th straight conference Title and taking BA's winning streak way was just another bonus." His football career took a turn as Dylan moved from a lineman to a tight end. "Football has been a lot of fun. Switching positions was confusing at first, but I like it better now. Getting 2 touchdowns was pretty cool too." Now Dylan is preparing for the playoffs. “We’re very excited for the playoffs but we need to stay ready for each week so we can hopefully go to the dome." After high school Dylan doesn't know where he wants to go, but he knows what he wants to do. "My college plans are to find a school with either carpentry or welding. If I can find a school that will let me play football or basketball that would be awesome too."

Outside of school what does this junior like to do? "I love to fish and hunt. It's how I spend time with my family." Dylan talked about what his favorite sport and team was. "My favorite sport is football. I love the intensity level. I also love to hit people. Football gives me a reason too. My favorite sports team is the Wisconsin badgers. My grandpa really pushed that team on me. It's also a great way for him and me to bond while we watch the game together."

Dylan is a junior looking for a great rest of a junior year. Also a great football team going into playoffs and state. He is a caring guy who loves the outsides and also loves to spend time with family.
