Rachael Rhodes by Kristina Makarenko Rachael Rhoades is a sophomore this year. She has many expectations about her new school year and many memories after 9th grade. She wants her 10th grade to be full of fun and good memories, good grades and an interesting social life. Until the 7th grade she was in the private school, so when somebody is talking about elementary, she doesn't know anything about it. It's new for her. The 2012-2013 school year started with new things for Rachael. She says that her classes are harder, and she has different groups of friends, as they can't be in all the classes together every year. iPads are new to work with, but she doesn't miss textbooks at all. This year started for Rachael with many interesting hobbies and activities. She takes part in musical, attends dance lessons, choir and orchestra, plays piano and violin. She wants to be a music teacher in future, as music means a lot in her life. All the classes are different this year for Rachael, as some are harder, some are new and also all the new technologies make it different. Only Choir is the same as every year, and she likes Choir very much. The Homecoming week was a lot of fun for this girl. She was freezing during the football game, as it was quite cold. After the game she went to the dance, and it was good, she says. It was warm in school and students were having fun. Most of all she liked Spirit Day and pepfest. It was fun for Rachael. She also won the Color Day and got 2 liters of Dr.Pepper. Rachael also is really excited about her future Choir and Band Trip to Washington DC. Let’s wish all her expectations to come true! |
